LNAT Structure
Section A
- Consists of 42 multiple choice questions and 12 passages.
- A test of your reading comprehension, verbal reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Scored out of 42. A very good score is 30+
- In the Law degree, you will have a lot of information to read: statute, cases, academic articles and textbooks. The LNAT tests your ability to understand extended pieces of writing.
Section B
- You will need to answer 1 essay question out of a choice of 3.
- The essay is read and marked by the universities applied to and not by the LNAT consortium.
- A Law degree involves a lot of essay writing so it is vitally important to be able to structure and write a high quality essay. Our tutors can mark practice essay answers, show exemplars and teach the best essay technique needed to succeed.
